Captain Rena

Welcome aboard! I’m Captain Rena, a former Army combat medic, registered nurse, and the owner and operator of Cool Cat Charters. I grew up in Fort Pierce along the Indian River Lagoon as the daughter of a boat captain, and spent most of my childhood on the water. I’m a USCG Master Captain (25 Ton, Near Coastal), and between that license and my medical background, safety always comes first. From there, every trip is built around you. I look forward to sharing my slice of paradise with you.

Captain Jenéia

Ahoy! I'm Captain Jenéia, the first boat captain in my family. At 33 years old, I’m excited to embark on this thrilling chapter of my life on the water. My family hails from Belize, where they too would sail on my great-grandfather’s boat, a tradition that has always been close to my heart. After  years of learning the ropes and honing my skills, I recently earned my captain's license—a milestone that marks the beginning of many more adventures ahead. I’ve found a deep love and passion for the sea, and that passion drives every trip I take. Each journey brings a fresh experience, and I eagerly anticipate every trip I take with family, friends, and new acquaintances!

Captain Tony

Captain Tony is a 1600-Ton All Oceans Master Captain with more than 35 years at sea. Born on the Greek island of Kalymnos, he began his career right here in Fort Pierce aboard Harbor Branch Oceanographic Institution’s research vessels, then went on to work with Woods Hole, Scripps, the University of Hawaii, and Oregon State. He’s a member of the Order of the Sparrow, an honor for mariners who have sailed every ocean, from the Arctic to Antarctica. Now he’s excited for his next chapter: sailing alongside his daughter, Captain Rena.
